Theodore Teddy's Visit!

Yesterday Theodore the Teddy came home with Deacon for a sleepover!

We strapped him in and took a ride to Nana & Poppy's house. Theodore ate way too many lollies so Deacon brushed his teeth for him. Then we went home and Theodore & Deacon

played on the computer & jumped on the trampoline.

Then after tea they put on their jammies & brushed their teeth & hair.

And watched Futurama until bedtime.

Theodore, Bluebeary1, Bluebeary 2, Baby & Deacon all slept in Deacon's bed!! And ended up with Mum during the night. What a squeeze!

We all went to the playground today, fed the ducks, went on the slide & swing,

then off to Nana's for another visit.

Just a quickie

Aaaaaw I went and saw a new baby tonight. Soooo cuuuute! Little Rhys, didn't even make me clucky though so I am definately NOT having anymore kids. My 2 have driven me insane lately, a 3rd would send me over the edge completely!!!

While they were at mum's and I had a spaer hour I got busy with publisher and finally made the raffle books, made the covers, posters, flyers and even did the calendar bottoms. Now I just have to print out 150 copies of raffle tickets, and over 1000 pages of calendars!!! Geeez I'll be a busy girl! Here is the 2008 calendar, every page is a different colour scheme. I just hope it is all right, I make it all manually using a spread sheet. Hope the dates are all correct. Then everyone makes an A4 sized custom top which I laminate and bind with the bottom. Finished product looks really good if I do say so myself. Now I just have to get time to make one for us and all the family members!! We usually raise over $1000 each year doing this fundraiser but I have to do it ALL and it is a LOT of work.

And here is the top half! Closest thing I'll get to a layout for now :( I'm really happy with it.

These 2 cute little girls belong to a friend and I just hope she likes what I have done. So girly and glittery and of course BUTTERFLIES!!! What little girl doesn't like butterflies & glitter?

Long time no blog :(

I haven't abandoned my blog. I just don't have ANY free time ATM. I'm nearly finished some of my backlog of computer work. No pages for a week!!

I am secretary of our local Playgroup. You might think it isn't a big job......................until you meet our president. She is a tyrant!!! Only kidding. She just makes me work very hard! hahaha.

So basically this is our busiest time of year...why?....because stupid ME is in charge of our major fundraiser. Personalised calendars. I have to print out the bottoms, laminate the tops, then bind them all together. I'm talking 100+ calendars. This is my last year as secretary, I just am not enjoying it lately and it's my time to move on. And I haven't even made the calendar yet:(because I don't use a template I make it all by hand in Publisher. Make the grid, copy in the dates, copy in the holidays etc.....very time consuming.)

So bear with me, I will be back with a freebie ASAP. And hopefully one layout somewhere in between!!

Don't get me wrong I LOVE Leanne and she does a fantastic job being our president.

What me?

Whoa where has my darling angel pie gone? Kaylee please come back, your psycho dopelganger is no longer welcome! Who would think this innocent looking princess could be such a demanding diva?

Seriously my Kaylee has suddenly changed from loveable tike to tasmanian devil. Monday she was her usual self then Tuesday, yesterday and today she has been a screaming mess. Unless I am holding her she is just crazy. Cries at the drop of a hat. It's is 6pm and she is in bed, I have totally had enough and put her to bed. Hopefully it's just because of the nw tooth coming through. I can't work at home any more because she stands at my leg and screams and claws at me to pick her up. And LOUD!!! Like a banshee, how can one little girl scream soooo loud?

Luckily she is a great sleeper and goes all night with out a peep. It takes 20 seconds to put her to bed, walk in lay her down tuck her in and that's it. Same with Deacon, our bedtime routine's for both kids are just in & out.

Oh well, tomorrow she has me to herself all day so here's hoping I can make her happy while daddy gets some sleep, luckily for him he doesn't have to work tomorrow night. It's one thing to have a screaming 16 month old in the house but another when a shift worker is trying to sleep through it.

On another note check out my new layout! Can you tell my Christina stuff came through! hahaha. I am totally in love with these flowers, so awesome. Christina wrote to tell me my order had cleared but little did she know that not only had I already downloaded it but had already done this page! hahaha. I had to do it quick while Kaylee was up at mum's house

I did some shopping and got some new clothes as well today, just tshirts for summer. No black, nice hot pink and a gorgeous emerald green. No more depressing black this season, it's happy bright & funky for me!

I've had a few comments about why I didn't apply for the CT call of Christina's. Easy answer, I didn't have any layouts using Christina's products to show off. I was all ready to go for it until I read the part about showing your favourite Christina layout. I felt it was fair on people who did use products, for me to apply without ever actually using any of Christina's products. Next time around I'll be there as I now finally have taken the plunge and bought some products which I am totally in love with already. I'm all for following the rules.

I also notice I haven't had any nasty anon comments about my piracy post either, they were pretty keen to say what they thought of me on The Digital Dish but not so confident to say it to my face (so to speak). Such a ridiculous thing to accuse me of piracy for admitting to downloading a free to air show, who am I ripping off exactly? And I am still downloading Survivor China but I am yet to actually watch it. Being accused of piracy has left me very mad still. I am so pissed off it's not funny. It's a free to air show! Get over it! How dare you say it's stealing? And that I am a pirate! arrrrr It is a free to air show, we don't get it here in Australia, I can't watch it on the CBS site because of region settings or some crap. What else can I do? (Ignore me I'm still so mad and having a major vent!!!)

New layout tonight. Mum & I at the Annual State Night Awards in 2005. Just after I reached my first goal weight. I was presented as the Queen of our club for losing the most weight for our club for the year. I had lost 13kilos at that stage. About 4 months before I got pregnant with Kaylee as well.

I chose my Paternal Grandmother. She had a very hard life. A single mother of 2 children over 70 years ago, just imagine the stigma attached to that back then! And by 2 different men even. Sadly she had Alzeimer's and died in a nursing home. She had it for over 10 years before she was diagnosed, everyone thought she just went quiet. And because she lived with my Aunty she just seemed normal for so many years. No accidents or anything to make us realise. She ended up just being so quiet and frail. She really did it hard.

I finally bought Christina Renee and got RAK'd by Karah Fredricks & Juniana!!!

UGH I finally took the plunge. I have been holding off for so long because I knew once I started I couldn't stop. And already I have spent more then I had in paypal so now I have to wait for a echeque to clear!! Arrgggghh.

I so wished I had been game enough to apply for her CT call. But there is so much good talent out there that I knew I was outgunned. Luckily my CT's have asked me and I haven't had the rejection yet, so that's probably what turned me off.

So now I am happily waiting for my CRD products to be available and I can't wait!!! This is what I'm waiting impatiently for:

The skinny mini ribbons is the first thing I ever saw of Christina's and I went to her store and was blown away. I could hear my paypal account shivering nervously so without even looking I made a bookmark and left the store quick smart knowing one day I'll have the courage to come back and shop. The collection looks so awesome, those flowers are what I am really hanging out for.

And when I logged onto DST today I had been RAK'd by Karah Fredricks! Shanna4 RAK'd me for Karah. A $5 gift voucher to Blue Flombingo!!!

I have been totally in love with Karah's fold templates since I bought one last week so now I have 2 more! I also bought some cool ribbons. And I must add too that Karah's customer service is AAA+++ after she sorted out a query I had no worries at all. Great people to deal with, very professional. This is what I got:

And lastly, I logged on to DST again and suprise! This was in my inbox!! I haven't even had a chance to look yet, it's a BIG download.
