Just a quickie

Aaaaaw I went and saw a new baby tonight. Soooo cuuuute! Little Rhys, didn't even make me clucky though so I am definately NOT having anymore kids. My 2 have driven me insane lately, a 3rd would send me over the edge completely!!!

While they were at mum's and I had a spaer hour I got busy with publisher and finally made the raffle books, made the covers, posters, flyers and even did the calendar bottoms. Now I just have to print out 150 copies of raffle tickets, and over 1000 pages of calendars!!! Geeez I'll be a busy girl! Here is the 2008 calendar, every page is a different colour scheme. I just hope it is all right, I make it all manually using a spread sheet. Hope the dates are all correct. Then everyone makes an A4 sized custom top which I laminate and bind with the bottom. Finished product looks really good if I do say so myself. Now I just have to get time to make one for us and all the family members!! We usually raise over $1000 each year doing this fundraiser but I have to do it ALL and it is a LOT of work.

And here is the top half! Closest thing I'll get to a layout for now :( I'm really happy with it.

Wowee have we been lazy today. It's 3.30pm and the kids have just had their bath. Back into pyjamas. Deacon wanted to stay in his PJ's all day so why not. So of course Kaylee did too. But now they've had a bath and into clean PJ's, same thing but I couldn't stand dirty PJ's any longer. We've just watched movies and used the computer today, it's wet and windy outside so it's been a stay home day today. Lucky I have 2 clothes horses for my washing!
So far I've done a page for Kiki but I haven't uploaded into galleries yet, will do it later this week. It's a friends daughter from Playgroup. I just loved this photo of her, her eyes are just perfect. When I saw my Kiki 'KIWI GELATO' kit I thought of this photo with the diamond crown. I just bought the paper fold template too that I used on the page, so cool. I love it. Click layout for full credits.

I'm planning on making a new header too. More my style, pink, glittery & girlie. That's tonight's plan when the kids are in bed. It's taken me nearly all day just to do this post!

I hate doing girl pages, I just suck totally. Boy pages are so easy, girl pages end up too frilly and sickly sweet for me. But now I have some great ideas from posters and I'll be doing more girl pages from now on.

Zac's 1st Birthday Part 1

So all day friday I sat and made 20 pages for Zac's birthday book. I wish I had taken a photo of it first. It was a stretch as I had limited photos of him and everyone that emailed me some through unfortunately didn't work!I ended up 4 pages short but am going to do them now with the birthday shots I took and send them on. Basically I just cheated and altered some of Deacon's layouts. But I also made some from scratch.

Arrrr me harrties

Today was Thomas' Pirtate Theme birthday. Deacon dressed up as a pirate. It was loads of fun but waaaaay too much sugar!!! And I took way too many photos. Jason took Deke to see the model car races in the morning so that was nice, Kaylee & I walked to the street to buy his costume pieces.

Not much else. Just a nice relaxing weekend after all of that.

I'm finally back!

Wow what a week I have had. After posting on Sunday I took Kaylee to the doctor. They couldn't give her anything so we had to just ride it out. Today she finally seemed back to normal. She just screamed for attention 24/7 and wanted to be held the whole time. Monday I almost fainted. I felt like I had jelly legs, my chest and arms were heavy and my face had pins & needles. I ended up in bed with a migraine and vomiting. Now Deacon is the sick one, complaining of earache and has been asleep since 4pm. Tomorrow is a friends pirate birthday party so I hope he is well enough.

I did manage a few pages though.

I took some excellent photos of the kiddies today. Loads of pages to do. How cute is Kaylee's dress? So gorgeous and her hair was so cute today, zigzag part down the middle, 2 little top knots and sparkly clips to boot!
