Monica Larsen Rules!!!

OMG she is the sweetest person in the entire world!

I emailed her yesterday (I think) asking about her Alpha Saver Action. And this morning she emails it to me to try before I buy!!! Now it doesn't end there. I was already convinced to buy it after her fabulous generosity, and I emailed her back to thank her. But unfortunately the zip file didn't work. So not only did she send through again, she sent through a THIRD time when that one didn't work!!! Now that is above and beyond in my world.

It takes a lot of trust to do that. Because I could have just said no thanks I don't like it but kept it anyway. So I have paid Monica for her action and have used it to death already. It has seriously paid for itself 10 times over.

If you make alpha's you need this action. Make your alpha in one sheet (the easy way) then run this action and it converts each letter into a separate PNG file for you. And if Monica could make it for a MAC I know a few people who would love it.

Well that's it from me. It has been a big day. A birthday party at playgroup and working all afternoon today. Not much computer time at all. I'm off to check out all of the layouts I have been linked to with my products being used. So cool.

Just a quickie

Aaaaaw I went and saw a new baby tonight. Soooo cuuuute! Little Rhys, didn't even make me clucky though so I am definately NOT having anymore kids. My 2 have driven me insane lately, a 3rd would send me over the edge completely!!!

While they were at mum's and I had a spaer hour I got busy with publisher and finally made the raffle books, made the covers, posters, flyers and even did the calendar bottoms. Now I just have to print out 150 copies of raffle tickets, and over 1000 pages of calendars!!! Geeez I'll be a busy girl! Here is the 2008 calendar, every page is a different colour scheme. I just hope it is all right, I make it all manually using a spread sheet. Hope the dates are all correct. Then everyone makes an A4 sized custom top which I laminate and bind with the bottom. Finished product looks really good if I do say so myself. Now I just have to get time to make one for us and all the family members!! We usually raise over $1000 each year doing this fundraiser but I have to do it ALL and it is a LOT of work.

And here is the top half! Closest thing I'll get to a layout for now :( I'm really happy with it.

These 2 cute little girls belong to a friend and I just hope she likes what I have done. So girly and glittery and of course BUTTERFLIES!!! What little girl doesn't like butterflies & glitter?

Finally a page!

First in over a week! For Bella Gypsy. It's my nephew Cooper and I thought the colours would look great. Notice the glitter? That's the style freebie in action. I am also working on a new photo cluster action. With & without frames. I used it in the layout, look good? Hope so.

Well I am so sick today, aching ALL over and have sore throat & nose. It's Jason's birthday today so I'll cook something nice for tea tonight. Back later with hopefully another page.

I have made some photo actions to share. I played around while making this layout for Lindsay Jane Designs. The action I used in the layout was number 5, then I changed the opacity of the top layer until I was happy with the results. There is an example of this in the zip file. They all have a brown or antique look because I was doing an Autumn coloured page. Click on layout for credits.
